On Day 2, visit Hustai National Park, home to the remarkable Takhi (Przewalski horses), where you can see these wild horses roaming freely—an inspiring conservation success story. With over 450 of these iconic horses now thriving in the park, it’s a rare and memorable sight. You’ll also visit a local museum to learn about the park’s history and wildlife preservation efforts. Additionally, enjoy a thrilling horseback ride through the park, further connecting with Mongolia’s rich equestrian culture. After an action-packed day, you'll return to Ulaanbaatar, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of Mongolia’s natural wonders and adventurous experiences.

DAY 1.

DRIVE TO TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

This morning, we will drive to Khogno Khan Nature Reserve located about 280km from Ulaanbaatar’s capital city. In Khogno Khan Natural Reserve, there is an extraordinary sand dune called Elsen Tasarhai. The scenery is a perfect combination of desert, picturesque mountains, rivers, and green grassland. Once we get there, we will discover the area. and then we will ride a camel for 1 hour through the beautiful scenery with a professional camel herder man. sustainable travel

Then we will visit the Uvgun monastery which is one of the main attractions of this area. The monastery was built in the 17th century by Saint Zanabazar who was a great sculptor and the biggest representative of Buddhism in Mongolia. DAY2.

DRIVE TO CHINGGIS KHAN EQUESTRIAN STATUE COMPLEX

Today, we begin our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, we will visit Hustai National Park, located in the foothills of the northern Khentii mountain range. This unique park is home to the Takhi (Przewalski horses), a rare species that was successfully reintroduced to the wild after being extinct for 40 years. Thanks to ongoing conservation efforts, the Takhi population now exceeds 450, thriving once again in their natural habitat.

You will also have the opportunity to explore a local museum to learn more about the park's history and wildlife conservation initiatives.
