TOUR OVERVIEW
The Gobi Desert is a stunning place to visit, famous for its vast and empty steppes, enormous sand dunes, hidden beauties, and camel-herding nomads. It's the largest and coldest desert in the world, excluding polar deserts. During winter, there are fewer crowds compared to the summer months.
You can learn and experience the nomadic way of life by staying with a nomadic family during your trip.
Other highlights of the Gobi Desert include hiking in a glacial valley, climbing massive dunes, enjoying a gentle stroll on a two-humped camel, exploring a dinosaur excavation site, and visiting ancient monasteries. All these activities allow you to immerse yourself in the barren steppes of Mongolia.
