DAY 1.
DRIVE TO BAGA GAZARIIN CHULUU ROCKY FORMATION

Today, we will drive to the astonishing granitic formations of Baga Gazariin Chuluu, "the stone of the little place," located northwest of the Dundgovi province. Therefore, you can see inscriptions on the rock written by two venerated monks who lived there in the 19th century.​ We will visit the ruins of an old 17th-century temple on the site. DAY 2.
DRIVE TO TSAGAAN SUVRAGA "WHITE STUPA"

Today, we will drive to Tsagaan Suvarga, located in Dundgovi province. sustainable travel 
It is interesting to see the sheer slope facing east, which, from a distance, seems to be the ancient city's ruins. Tsagaan Suvraga, 90 degrees straight, consists of many clay deposits in various colors. sustainable travel

DAY 3.

DRIVE TO YOLIIN AM "VULTURE CANYON"

This morning, we will drive to Yol Valley (Vulture Canyon). It is a beautiful, deep canyon with many rocky cliffs formed over many years by water erosion. After arrival at the canyon, we will take a 2-hour hike and see parts of a glacier left over from the winter months. sustainable travel 
We can visit the local Natural History Museum on our way in/out of the park, where dinosaur eggs and bones, petrified trees, and a snow leopard are displayed. Overnight at a ger camp. sustainable travel

DAY 4.

DRIVE TO KHONGORIIN SAND DUNES "SINGING DUNE"

Mongolian gobi desert and  three camels

Khongor dune is one of Mongolia's largest and most spectacular dunes, standing as high as 200 meters above the ground, 7-8 km wide, and 180 km long. Climbing the dunes is breathtaking, not just for the view from the top.

It surprises climbers that the dunes make a singing sound while you climb; that is why they are nicknamed the singing dunes. sustainable travel

The dunes give you an extraordinary sense of comfort and infinite peace. Once we get there, we will ride a camel along the Khongor sand dunes. The two-humped Bactrian camels are very comfortable to ride as they walk slowly and gently. You will be well supported by the humps, sitting comfortably between them. sustainable travel

DRIVE TO ONGI RUINED MONASTERY VIA BAYANZAG FLAMING CLIFFS 

This morning, we are going to drive to the Bayanzag area. Known as a Flaming Cliffs "Cradle of Dinosaurs," this is where the first nest of dinosaur eggs ever discovered was found in 1922. We will explore the area. Sustainable travel

Afterward, continue to drive to the Ongi Monastery, built in the late 18th century, to commemorate Mongolia's first-ever visit by a Dalai Lama.

DAY 6.
DRIVE TO ULAANTSUTGALAN WATERFALL 

Today, we will drive to the Orkhon Valley, which UNESCO designated a World Cultural Heritage site in 2005. Many of Mongolia’s ancient monuments lie within its basin. Orkhon waterfall, also called UlaanTsutgalan, was formed by a series of volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago.

It cascades from a height of 22 meters and is 10m wide. We will visit a nomadic family, gain experience there, and go horse riding for an hour.

DAY 7.
DRIVE TO TUVKHUN MONASTERY

Today, we will drive to Tuvkhun Monastery. Visitors hike 5 km up to the monastery from the mountain's skirts. The Tuvkhun monastery was first established in 1648 by the 14-year-old Zanabazar, the first Jebtsundamba khutuktu Bogd. 

He first noticed this beautiful place in 1651 and then built a small wooden cabin for meditation. That was the beginning of the Tuvkhun monastery.

DAY 8.
DRIVE TO KHARKHORUM & ERDENEZUU MONASTERY

In the morning, we will drive to Kharkhorum, the ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire. The city served as the Mongolian capital for only 40 years (until Khubilai Khan moved it to Beijing). Chinese soldiers later destroyed most of the city during the second half of the 14th century. The remnants of the town were used to build the ErdeneZuu Monastery in the 16th century.
Upon arrival in Kharkhorum, the first and most prominent landmark is the massive walls of the Erdenezuu Monastery, the country's first Buddhist monastery. Explore the area and visit the museum, etc., for sustainable travel.

DAY 9.
DRIVE TO BEAUTIFUL UGII LAKE

After a hearty breakfast this morning, we’ll drive to Ugii Lake, located in the heart of central Mongolia. Known for its tranquil beauty and rich biodiversity, Ugii Lake is one of Mongolia’s largest freshwater lakes, covering about 25 square kilometers. The area is a haven for migratory birds, especially during summer, attracting birdwatchers from around the world.

As we arrive, we can enjoy a peaceful walk along the shore, take in the stunning views, or even go for a boat ride to appreciate the serene waters and surrounding landscapes fully. It’s the perfect spot to connect with nature and unwind.

DAY 10.
DRIVE TO HUSTAIN NATIONAL PARK VIA ELSEN TASARKHAI SEMI-DESERT

Today, we are going to drive to Hustai NP. The park lies in the foothills of the northern Khentii mountain range, where you can see wild horses called Takhi, known worldwide as Przewalski horses. sustainable travel


Wild horses survive in nature on their own because they have been successfully reintroduced to their homeland after 40 years of extinction. Currently, the number of Takhi has already exceeded 450. Visit a local museum.

DAY 11.
DRIVE TO CHINGGIS KHAN EQUESTRIAN STATUE COMPLEX AND TERELJ NATIONAL PARK AND BACK TO THE CITY

This morning, after having breakfast, we will drive to the Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, built in 2008, on the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Mongolian Empire's foundation, in honor of its founder, Chinggis Khan. This giant stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and stands 40 meters (131 feet) tall; it's the tallest statue of a man on horseback in the world. If you want, we can do some shopping.

Then, we will drive to Terelj National Park, considered one of the most beautiful places to visit for its combination of sharp mountains, granite cliffs, forests, and rivers. Once we get there, we will see the Aryabal Buddhist meditation temple. The park looks so beautiful and peaceful from the top of the temple. After that, we will drive back to the city. DAY 12.
DRIVE BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY

After a delicious breakfast this morning, we’ll begin our journey back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel or any location of your choice.
