DAY 1.

DRIVE TO ELSEN TASARKHAI SEMI-DESERT

Today, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Elsen-Tasarkhai semi-desert. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes, and a small forest near a river. This presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests, and Gobi-type landscape in one location. Eco-friendly tours

Once we get there, explore the area, visit Uvgun Temple, and experience the lifestyle of a nomadic family in a traditional Mongolian ger. We will ride the camel, walk on sand dunes, and relax in beautifully serene nature.

DAY 2.

DRIVE TO ULAANTSUTGALAN WATERFALL

This morning we will drive to visit a warm and welcoming nomadic family. Along the way, we will stop for a delicious lunch, offering a chance to sample local flavors. Upon arrival at the nomad family’s home, you will have the unique opportunity to experience their way of life firsthand.

We’ll gather around a traditional Mongolian BBQ, where we will prepare and cook together, savoring the rich flavors of Mongolian cuisine.

You will also get to spend time inside a traditional Mongolian ger (yurt), learning about the nomadic lifestyle and the customs that have been passed down through generations. This memorable experience will allow you to connect with Mongolia's rich cultural heritage authentically and intimately.

DAY 3.

HORSEBACK TREAKKING 

After breakfast this morning, we will prepare the horses and set off on our horseback trekking tour to Khuisiin Naiman Nuur, also known as the "Eight Lakes." Spanning over 116 square kilometers, this beautiful area has been protected as a natural monument since 1992. The lakes are located at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level, surrounded by pristine wilderness.

As we ride through this stunning landscape, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including red deer, wild Argali sheep, Siberian ibex, musk deer, wild boar, ducks, and various bird species. We will take a break during the day to enjoy a hearty lunch and rest before continuing our journey.

In the late afternoon, we will ride to a picturesque spot where we will set up camp for the night. Our tents will be pitched in a serene location, providing a perfect place to relax and immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of the Mongolian wilderness. This horseback trek is a wonderful opportunity to experience Mongolia's untouched nature and wildlife up close, creating lasting memories of an unforgettable adventure.

DAY 4.

CONTINUE TO HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

This morning, after a hearty breakfast, we will saddle up and continue our horseback journey towards Shireet Lake, one of the most beautiful spots in the Eight Lakes region. As we ride through stunning landscapes of forests, meadows, and rolling hills, you’ll be captivated by the breathtaking views of the rugged terrain and distant mountains.

Shireet Lake, with its crystal-clear waters and tranquil surroundings, offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this pristine area. This ride promises an unforgettable experience, immersing you in Mongolia’s untouched wilderness.

DAY 5.

HORSEBACK TREKKING TOUR 

After breakfast, we will pack our luggage onto the horses and begin our horseback ride through the beautiful Mongolian countryside. Along the way, we'll stop for a tasty lunch and a short rest before continuing our journey through scenic landscapes.

In the evening, we will set up camp in a peaceful location, surrounded by nature, for an overnight stay in tents. This simple and relaxing experience will allow you to fully enjoy the tranquil beauty of Mongolia’s wilderness.

DAY 6.

HALF DAY HORSE RIDING AND DRIVE TO ULAANTSUTGALAN WATERFALL

This morning, we’ll enjoy a short horseback ride to visit our host, a warm and welcoming local horse herder family, where we will share a delicious lunch. After bidding farewell to our lovely hosts and horses, we’ll drive a short distance to the stunning Ulaantsutgalan Waterfall.

Upon arrival, we will check into our comfortable tourist camp. After settling in, you’ll have time to explore the waterfall and its breathtaking surroundings. In the evening, relax and unwind with a refreshing shower, then enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the camp for a peaceful night’s rest.

DAY 7.

WALKING AND HIKING TOUR TO TUVKHUN MONASTERY

This morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will begin our walking and hiking tour to the Tuvkhun Monastery. Located high in the mountains of the Orkhon Valley, Tuvkhun Monastery is a historically significant site, dating back to the 1650s.

Perched at an altitude of 2,200 meters, the monastery offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valley and forested hills.As we hike towards the monastery, we’ll pass through lush landscapes and peaceful surroundings, with the quiet serenity of nature providing the perfect backdrop. Upon reaching the monastery, you’ll have the chance to explore its ancient temples, meditation caves, and sacred sites.

The monastery is known for its connection to the famous Mongolian religious leader, Zanabazar, who meditated here. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views make Tuvkhun Monastery a truly spiritual and memorable destination, allowing you to connect with both the natural beauty and the deep cultural heritage of Mongolia.

DAY 8.

DRIVE TO 13TH CENTURY CAPITAL KHARKHORUM & UNESCO HERITAGE SITE OF ERDENE ZUU MONASTERY

In the morning, we will drive to the Kharkorum, the Great Mongolian Empire's ancient capital. The city served as the Mongolian capital for only 40 years (until Khubilai Khaan moved it to Beijing). Chinese soldiers later destroyed most of the city during the second half of the 14th century. The remnants of the town were used to build the ErdeneZuu Monastery in the 16th century. Upon arrival in the Kharkorum, the first and most prominent landmark is the massive walls of the Erdenezuu Monastery, the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. Explore the area, visit the museum etc.

DAY 9.

DRIVE TO HUSTAI NATIONAL PARK 

This morning, we will drive to Hustai National Park, renowned for its successful reintroduction of Przewalski's horse (Equus przewalskii), the last remaining wild horse species, since 1992. Known as the Takhi in Mongolian, these majestic creatures now roam freely in their native homeland once again. Eco-friendly tours

DAY 10.

DRIVE TO BACK TO ULAANBAATAR CITY VIA CHINGGIS KHAN EQUESTRIAN STATUE COMPLEX AND TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

This morning, after having breakfast, we will drive to Chinggis Khan Equestrian Statue Complex, built in 2008, on the eight-hundredth anniversary of the Mongolian Empire's foundation in honor of its founder, Chinggis Khan.

This giant stainless steel statue weighs 250 tons and is 40 meters (131 feet) high; it's the tallest statue representing a man on horseback in the world. If you want, we will be able to do some shopping. 

Then, we will drive to Terelj National Park, which is considered one of the most beautiful places worth visiting because it combines sharp mountains with granite cliffs, forests, and rivers. Once we get there, we will see the Aryabal Buddhist meditation temple. The park looks so beautiful and peaceful from the top of the temple. After that we will drive back to the city.
